TEACHING IN JAPAN AS AN "EIKAIWA" OR ENGLISH CONVERSATION TEACHER

This approach in English learning is categorized into different varieties. The delivery of the lesson depends on a lot of aspects. Some English Language Schools follow a certain plan while some ask their students on how they want to learn English. It also depends on the level of the students.

Teachers first gauge their students to know their level and then recommend the right lesson plan for them. But there are also times where the students select the kind of lesson regardless of their English level.
It is very common for Eikaiwa teachers to teach people with different levels. Although this may sound a lot of work because you have to prepare different lesson plans for each student, some teachers still prefer teaching one on one lessons than group lessons. One reason is the schedulefs flexibility. Students or teachers can easily cancel lessons if the schedule doesnft go well for them. Also, they can have as many lesson as the want in a day so that they can earn more money. The only disadvantage is you also have to prepare for a lot of lesson plans. But if youfre lucky to have high-level students who only want someone to talk to, so they can practice their English skills, youfll earn a lot by just telling stories with someone.
