DESCRIPTION

This ALT position will be teaching in both Elementary and Junior High School. The city is home to one of the coldest weather in Japan because of the mountains surrounding it. A number of ski resorts can be found around the city. So for those who love cold weather and skiing, here is the perfect position for you.

Many companies hiring teachers from abroad are part of the “Eikawa” or English Conversation School sector. These companies often offer small class sizes with ages ranging from pre-school children to retirees. Often teachers must work long and continuous hours within rigid guidelines. The basic requirements for the position are as follows:

1. Native English Speaker

2. University Degree (Minimum Educational Requirement is either a BA/BS)
