ABOUT JAPAN: THE TECHNOLOGY AND CULTURE

For decades, Japan has been one of the countries foreigners have been desiring to live in. Although it has been established that it is one of the most expensive countries, people from around the world have never disregarded working in Japan. According to most foreigners who have experienced the Japanese working environment, they have considered the country as being the safest they have ever been.

Moreover, it is in Japan where they saw the most polite, respectful and hospitable people. This has been a common opinion heard from people coming from different parts of the world. Japanese people have developed the habit of bowing as a sign of respect and gratitude to other persons. This practice creates a very light atmosphere in the workplace, restaurants, houses, and even small places like supermarkets and convenient stores. It eases the stress from the busy Japanese working life.

It has also been common for most foreigners to think of Japan as a very competitive country when it comes to technology. It has been in the forefront of technologically developed countries. With this in the minds of most people, you might be wondering where has the rich and deep culture of this country gone? This could be quite unbelievable but itfs true; Japan has kept itfs culture and preserved it for years. With the advancement of technology, building of high-rise skyscrapers and astonishing network of trains and subways, the country has also developed different ways to preserve their history. Japan still has their century-old temples, palaces, and gardens. Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Nara have most of these old structures.

Some may think that when you say Japan, old temples, shrines and ancient are the only things you could find here. But people who have been in Japan and have gone around the country would completely disagree. Almost everything that you are looking for can be found here. If you are a big fan of skiing, snow boarding and cold weather, Hokkaido (found in the Northern part of Japan) is the perfect place for you. On the other hand, if you like swimming, diving and the beach, you will love Okinawa (Southern region of Japan found near the Kyushuu Island). From cold to hot weather, skiing and swimming, Japan is one of the few countries you could go.

These are only a few things about Japan. In this country, exploring new things never runs out. Just when you think youfve seen every possible thing, something new always comes along.
