WHY IS JAPAN IN NEED OF ENGLISH TEACHERS?

Along with the demands of globalization comes the need of effective communication. Although translators are always available for international meetings, being able to converse in English is still the best option. Because of this reason, the demands for teaching English in almost all ages have reached significant levels. Youfll be surprised that even businessmen are taking private English lessons.

For students to be able to get into universities they are to pass different exams and English is a big chunk of it. They spend years of rigid preparation for these exams. With that, they feel that having a native English speaking person as their mentor helps speed up the process. Also, many Japanese people go to different parts of the world for business and personal purposes. So to make their travel more convenient and less stressful, they prepare themselves by learning particular vocabulary and grammar they will need.

LOOKING TO EXPLORE A DIFFERENT DIMENSION?

Has it ever occurred to you that there are hundreds or millions of other cultures aside from your own? Havenft you ever been curious that the world could show you more things than you could imagine? Are you the kind of person who thinks that they have seen almost everything? Just when you think that youfve seen it all, something new always comes along. So why be contented with what youfve seen so far?

Japan is one of the countries out of the hundreds that foreigners choose to explore. The countryfs deep and rich culture along with its ancient history is just a small part that interests many people. The fascinating mix of ancient practices and highly advanced technology is another. Currently staying on top of the business world while perfectly preserving its is just one of the things you wouldnft believe happening in our world today.

Apart from these, Japan exerts a lot of effort in keeping its natural resources alive. Japanese people and even foreigners take advantage of long weekends and vacations to go to different places. It is common in Japan to see lots of tourists taking buses or bullet trains during these occasions.

MOVING TO JAPAN

New friends, new house, new place and an entirely different environment. These are the things that make many people excited and interested. But for some, they might feel scared or anxious. Everything will feel new, different and sometimes weird. Moving to a different place is really scary if you want it to be scary. Instead of being scared, why donft you look at the bright side? You get the chance to be with people, who have different beliefs, practices and language. Itfs not everyday and especially not everyone has the chance of experiencing this while earning money and improving their teaching skills.

Moving to Japan and not knowing anyone could get scary. But with the number of companies taking care of foreigners wishing to work in Japan, the element of getting scared is somehow taken cared of. These companies ensure the smooth transition and eventually eliminate homesickness or culture shock of new teachers.

When moving to Japan to work, having enough money to get you through the first two months is one thing you have to be concerned with. The salary system is different. I.E. the salary for the work done in February will be paid within the month of March. There are a number of foreigners who have difficulty adjusting to the system. But on the other hand, many of them also said that once you get through the first months, you would be fine all the way. The other thing foreigners are having difficulty with is accommodation. Not all realtors are willing to provide service to foreigners. But again, because of the rapidly increasing number of foreigners, some companies have opened their doors to welcome everyone.
